Our Town unfolds in three acts—“Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity”—and offers a portrait of life in the small community of Grover’s Corners. A stage manager narrates the action, and the production relies on minimal sets and props. The story follows the everyday experiences of the Gibbs and Webb families as their children fall in love, marry, and ultimately, in one of American theatre’s most renowned moments, die.
