2. Open Doors and Listen: Be approachable and receptive to new people and ideas. Active listening can lead to unexpected collaborations.
3. Trust and Be Trusted: Trust underpins successful innovation communities. Take small, thoughtful risks to build mutual confidence and teamwork.
4. Experiment and Develop Value: Prioritize action over perfection. Try things, learn from failures, iterate, and ask for help when needed.
5. Seek Fairness, Not Advantage (No Selling): Build partnerships on respect and equity rather than trying to “win” at others’ expense.
6. Fail and Persist: Failure is expected; persistence and forward motion are what matter most.
7. Pay It Forward: Offer help without expecting immediate returns—generosity fosters goodwill and future collaboration.
