2. Open doors and listen — Be approachable and receptive to new people and ideas. Active listening creates opportunities for unexpected connections.
3. Trust and be trusted — Build mutual confidence by taking small, calculated risks with others; trust is the backbone of a strong innovation community.
4. Experiment and develop value — Prioritize action over perfection: try things, learn from failure, iterate, and ask for help.
5. Seek fairness, not advantage (No Selling) — Focus on respectful, equitable relationships and partnerships rather than trying to gain at others' expense.
6. Fail and persist — Failure is expected; the important part is to keep moving forward and learning from setbacks.
7. Pay it forward — Help others without immediate expectations; generosity plants the seeds for future collaboration.
