Barney Cashman, a middle-aged married man, decides he wants to partake in the sexual revolution before it’s too late. He sets up three attempts at seduction, each with very different results.
- Elaine Navazio is the first: a foul-mouthed, anxious bundle of neuroses.
- Bobbi Michele is the second: a 20-ish actress whose eccentric behavior is over the top.
- Finally, September and Jeanette Fisher: a sorrowful, depressed housewife who is married to Barney’s best friend.
